Name, email address, and business details (during registration)
ABN, business structure, and financial information entered for grant applications
R&D project descriptions, business activity details, and supporting documentation
Payment information (processed by our secure payment provider — we do not store card details)
Usage data, including pages visited and features used
Technical data such as IP address, browser type, and device identifiers

3. How We Collect Personal Information

We collect information when you register for an account, use our platform to prepare grant applications, contact us for support, or subscribe to our communications. We may also collect information automatically through cookies and analytics tools.

Grant preparation requires detailed business and financial information. We use this information solely to prepare your grant applications and identify funding opportunities. We do not share this information with third parties except as described in Section 7.

Your information is stored on secure Australian servers. We use encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, and strict access controls. Regular security reviews are conducted. No internet system is completely secure, but we take all reasonable precautions to protect your data.

7. Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

Service providers assisting with hosting, payments, and AI infrastructure — bound by confidentiality
Regulators, the ATO, and government bodies where required by Australian law or for grant lodgement
Professional advisers (accountants, lawyers) under strict confidentiality obligations

Some service providers may be located outside Australia. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place under the APPs.

8. Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

Complain about a breach of the APPs
Request deletion of your data (subject to legal and tax retention requirements)

9. Data Retention

We retain grant application data and business information for a minimum of 5 years to comply with ATO record-keeping requirements for R&D Tax Incentive claims and other government grants. Account data is retained while your account is active. When no longer required, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

10. Cookies

We use cookies to improve your experience and analyse platform usage. Cookies do not personally identify you. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect some platform features.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through our platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
